What am I doing wrong, right, almost right, etc?
What's missing?
What's your top 5 list of favorite fantasy, fairy tale, mythological, or otherwise make believe type of character/creature/race?
In no order, mine are
Puca/Goblins/Small tricksey Fey Folk Were-folk Warlocks (people who use dangerous/forbidden magic to take down those who abuse those same magics) Bards/Skalds Talking animals, esp foxes, cats, and crows/ravens. Bears are cool, too.

I'm still struggling with how/where I want to represent reptilians.
Also, I'm going to review how perception, investigation, research, and puzzling things out work in qfc. I think the skills are right, but how those skills work isn't even well defined in my head, like some of the other skills.
I do know that I want research to come into play when dealing with "monster of the week" type stories, and I want groups to need and benefit from research into recurring enemies, factions, types of magic, etc, on a fairly regular basis in most adventures. I want the scholar to be an important part of the team.
